In November of last year, I was lucky enough to get to stay in an oceanview suite at the Kea Lani. It is an absolutely beautiful luxury hotel that offers all suites, and villas with private plunge pools. It is located on one of the best beaches in Maui, and enjoys better weather than other parts of the island. InterContinental Bora Bora Resort and Thalasso Spa

I recently returned from a fabulous trip to Tahiti, where I got to stay in a Diamond Overwater bungalow at the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort and Thalasso Spa. This is an actual picture from my bungalow. It is one of the newest luxury hotels in Bora Bora with a 13,200 square foot spa. The views from both the bedroom and living room are some of the best in the area, looking at Mt. Otemanu on the main island. The water in these villas is deeper than some of the overwater bungalows, and makes for great snorkeling and diving. Additionally, they offer the "Swim Spa", an outdoor deep-sea water spa pool, where you can swim against the current. It is a very private and romantic resort.
